Never Too Late

I've been remiss about updating, and really remiss about my favorites from last year. All in all, lots of good metal and solid black metal came out, but the album that really has my number is Effigies and Epitaphs by Petrychor. Sometimes an album just grabs your attention and it's like it was written with your taste in mind, and while atmospheric black metal with lots of cricket sounds and a big piano breakdown during the last fourteen and a half minute song and flamenco acoustic guitar sounds like it might possibly be a hard sell, for me it was not.
